Back from survivor(SMRT). A 1.5 hour ride back from school, went to pay my first installment. Saw Pierre Png and some chye of an actress there embracing each other(Filming of course). It's hard to part with $, even if it's for a good cause. Hope the investment pays off. Theres only one way about it, that is to put in 101% effort into my studies. ( I think i said the same when i was in poly).

ahhh...it's been awhile.....

Really free right now so i should just put something here to clear the dust.
Finally got my acceptance letter from UWA. That'll be 4 years of having no-life. Juggling both NS and Studies.... Well since i'm of no value to the army, i should add value to myself and go ahead to pursuit my further studies. Doubles up as a warm up, help get myself accustomed to such a lifestyle before i eventually go out to work.

This means lesser time for enjoyment, lesser time for gyming as well...HAHA.
Speaking of which, have been gyming regularly recently, manage to get my weight up to 70kg.
Thanks to the snacking as well as the high protein diet...

Anyway this happened that day:

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!!!

Late update thanks to my screwed up modem; that gave up on me.
In what appears to be the (one of the) most happening Christmas celebrations ever.
How much it has evolved.
I still remember the times when Christmas celebrations were done over at my aunts. Waiting for the clock to strike 12 and all the kids would be having a hell of a time ripping the wrappers off...

How times have changed.
Without fail; i would have to wreck my brains every year when the calender pages hit December.
Not complaining though. What a successful gamble this year has turned out to be. Although i lied on Christmas, to "someone". I feel terribly sorry, and stupid to still put up a show as though i had a lame Christmas dinner over at my relatives when the pictures uploaded in face book gave it all away.

That aside, i think the celebrations at Dungeon was a blast. I profited the most from the gift exchange!! SUBWAY COOKIES!!!. Thanks JEFF.

So i slept half the day away woke up at 2pm it didn't feel like Christmas when i did. Head weighed a tonne, nose running like a tap gone wrong and a throat so sore it felt as though i swallowed a porcupine. Kicked off X'mas day with some bowling then over to some strangers place for dinner. HAHA. This has ironically been the highlight of every X'mas. I'll somehow end up at a strangers place.

Really loving the long break this week...I dare not even set my mind on monday, and will make no attempts to right now. New year next week, hope it'll be just as good!!

Finally got the urge to put something here.
Well. The previous weekend was rather boring. Great catch up time though.
It was a typical "drift-wood" weekend. I just leave home without knowing where i'm heading. The waves brought me to e!hub where we bowled for a couple of hours before snuggling up at a game corner. Yea one of those "cool" Nebo makan/gaming corner.

When i say games, I'm referring to board games. We all decided to play a game called "kill doctor lucky". Yes 3 twenty odd year olds messing around with board games.

Soccer on sunday was a blast, huuge attendance.
Amongst all the fun something actually jolted me wide awake. What if....
one day my neck gives way. OK lame. BUT BUT BUT i've been getting some slight discomfort every now and then. I'll be heading over to CGH for an X-ray tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers glued cross. I really really reallyyyy don't want to experience any more OPS or hospital stays no more.

Prices escalating here and there, from rice to fuel prices. What if i told you i had a free buffet, and ya there wasn't any catch to it. Pardon the lack of updates, probably due to my uneventful life. Anyway was practically out 3/4 the time for the past week or so. Just the last few days before most of my friends get shipped off to Tekong. Had dinner and movie(Hancock) with Cheng,Clif,Boon and Cai during the weekend, and also shuffling between Sophian's chalet. I struggle as i find my way back to full fitness. I could only lift half the weight of what i could do before. Run 3/4 the distance i could before. Pretty depressing, but i wont stop. One of the worst parts has to be the controlling of my diet. Being such a "no-life" bugger i stay up till the wee hours of the morning, got to resist snacks. I need to find my life back. I feel like a completely useless bum, rotting at home doing nothing. I only contribute to the carbon dioxide in the air thats about it.

As everyone knows, i've been through hours of agony at the hospital, spinal surgery and having to lay totally flat for days without television and air-condition. All these and more, an expensive price paid indeed. I would like to thank those who have made countless visits to the hospital to accompany me, i got to let u guys know the moment u guys leave it was hell. THANKS for being there.
Many people would be thinking, "oh gosh if i were him i wouldnt know how to face my father for the lost of the car." and yes! I do feel exactly the same, one rash moment and alls gone. Gone for good. In an instance , i lost my freedom to move, i've lost the car my dad just bought months ago and of course all the workout done in the gym will go down the drain. It's been more than a week, memory still as fresh as ever etched at the back of my mind. I still can't forgive myself for wrecking what he's wanted for ever!, in the matter of minutes.

The next time u want an adrenaline pumping ride, turn to Need for speed on your favourite console. Do so or risk losing what i had. As i embark on my slow route to recovery those devilish flash backs and "what ifs" appear in my mind as i close my eyes to rest.

Days ahead would be tough, i cannot handle the fact that i'm like a child now. My mum has to look after me for the time being, gonna be tough on her.

I would like to apologize to Cixian for handing him so much discomfort and trouble as he has to tackle his assignments and more with his broken shoulder bones. His parents as well whoe are lovely people! Terribly sorry about that.

I may lose my license, i've lost a car or should i say my father's. I Miss the soccer court, and the gym. Perhaps all i deserve. Can someone give me a clue on how to live the remaining 2 months inside these four walls.

This was the first time in my life someone almost made me pee-ed in my pants for reckless driving.
This crack-pot cabby Neo Choo Song. Basket, drove like he was possessed. I guess he was, the conversations he started was total nonsense. (I made up his name, he didn't display his license card. Which makes me suspect that he stole the cab.

During one of dozen unintelligible sentences he brought up, he started off asking me if i know about this guy by the name of $#&^#@$ ok it was in Chinese couldn't catch the name. I sat there stunned, and shook my head. Then he asked if i had watched this show "#$%^&*%". OK! Some Chinese show again or documentary or whatever. Then i said no again, with that said and done,it catalysed that cocked-up brain cells of his. Then his rantings began. Ok, to be exact he said in mandarin of course:

Made my debut at workplace today, first appearance of 2008!.
Given this job at C.A.S, some company in the east.
This was how the job went.....
Open the sewage cover and collect whatever SHIT is in it, ok my colleague did just that. As if that wasnt bad enough, he told me that in order for more water to pass through the sampling point, i'd have to go to the nearest toilet and flush like a zillion times before he collects 3 litres worth of shit and pee and god knows what goes down the toilet bowl.
So i stood there for 20secs thinking uhhhhhh, wouldnt that mean 10mins worth of flushing? I then made my way to the nearest loo and flush-o-mania2008 started. Flush flush flush flush flush.... Then this group of factory workers gave me this really weird look when they entered the toilet, what on earth is this serial flusher doing here? So i slammed the cubical door shut and continued flushing for 10mins. 10! whole mins.
I was so sick of flushing by the end of the day, pardon me for not flushing any toilet bowls used today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Not the best new years eve celebration.

To begin with, i busted my knee before anything started. Felt like Terry
fox as we thread our way through city link to the Esplanade.

At the Shears bridge we were made to suffer at the hands of the "Black express" Freaking annoying line of "you know!". The fire works display was brief but beautiful.

Celebration later at Boat quay was a notch better. We got to know who was "jui ben". Ushered in the new year with approximately 3 hours of sleep in about 47 hours or more. Sorry clif for shooting the rubber band at your lips, but still i've got to say this.....
